About Us
Vida means life. As part of a large family, my life revolves around being with my family and my dogs. My favorite moments are when I am walking dogs with my mom, playing board games with my siblings and children and enjoying snuggles with my nieces and nephew. In my free time, I love paddle boarding, gardening, hiking and snowshoeing with my dogs by my side.
Blessed with three magnificent children and a supportive husband, I am thrilled that we can work as a team to raise empowered puppies and to help families find the perfect puppy to be their new best friend. From whelping puppies and cleaning, to socializing and training, we are a team!
At the heart of what I do…
Unexpectedly in 2018, my youngest brother passed away in a train accident and it shook my family to the core. He was a wonderful combination of my brother, my friend and like a sibling to my 3 children. Mike was the best piece of all of us.
Losing Mike left a hole in our family. It also added the anxiety that one of my siblings was working through. Her therapist suggested a dog might help. As the “doer” in the family, I made it my mission to find her the perfect dog that would both have the traits that she wanted and would not affect her husband’s allergies. After working together, she found just what she was looking for and I also fell in love with a new dog breed. Bernedoodles were the perfect dog! A combination of loyal, goofy, cuddly, and smart, who wouldn’t want a Bernedoodle?
Mike was an adventurer and someone that encouraged everyone to pursue their passion. It is his inspiration that encouraged me to pursue my passion for helping families that are looking for a dog to heal their heart or complete their family. My bernedoodles have not only been my emotional support animals since Mike’s death but they have also inspired me to help other families by providing them with quality, healthy, loving, heart healing dogs that are raised to be amazing pets or therapy dogs. As a small breeder, my intention is to save and use a portion of all proceeds to be able to donate one of my dogs as an emotional support or therapy dog to someone in need. I know first hand how amazing Bernedoodles are at providing comfort and emotional support and want to be able to give a gift in Mike’s honor to a family in need.
